A Year to Remember
Well, It's official. Welcome to 2014! For me 2013 was a pretty big year. I graduated high school, got accepted to colleges, and then spent the first semester of my freshman year at the one and only Clemson University. Strangers became friends, moments became memories, tears turned into laughter, and God worked for good through it all. So, its with a happy and thankful heart that I say adieu to 2013 and look forward with anticipation to all that this year holds!
So, since this is the first post I feel obligated to explain the title and give a little background. "She Dared to Live With Her Heart Wide Open" is something that's been on my mind a lot these past few months. I have tried to blog before, and its gone decently well, but it never really seemed to be what I wanted it to be.
So this time, I sat down and thought about what I wanted this blog to be for me. And it hit me full in the face, I wanted my blog to be a place where I could be open and honest not only with myself, but also with others, whoever they may be.
In today's world, honesty is so rare and it seems to hold little (if any) value in some situations. Honestly, I am just tired of it. So here's to the new year, here's to a fresh start, and here's to a bold and honest Sarah. I hope any of you who are unfortunate enough to discover my blog will find something worth coming back for.
